Barnet manager Dean Brennan has signed a new three-year contract after leading the club to the National League title. The Bees will return to the English Football League next season after seven years away.
What happened?
Brennan, 44, has managed the north London club since September 2021 and celebrated his 200th game in charge as Barnet beat Aldershot last weekend to win promotion.
Why it matters for Barnet
Brennan told the club website: "My dream was to take Barnet back to the EFL. We've done that and the next process is to make sure we establish ourselves as a really strong EFL side."
What comes next?
Chairman Tony Kleanthous added: "This is the first step in our plan to conquer League Two. First we keep the manager, then we keep the players, then we sign new players and then we go for promotion again."
As of 28 Jun 2026, Barnet stands 8th in League Two with 76 points from 46 games, having scored 70 goals and conceded 53, with a recent form of WWWWW and 5-game winning run. Their last result was a 2-1 win against Harrogate Town on 2026-05-02.
