Barnet boss Dean Brennan was named The Vanarama National League Manager of the Year. He led the Bees to a National League title triumph and promotion to the EFL for the first time since 2018.
What happened?
Brennan accepted the award at the annual AGM at Celtic Manor on Saturday evening. Barnet’s 102-point haul saw them comfortably pip runners-up York City to top spot.
Why it matters for Barnet
Brennan has earned huge respect from his peers after dragging Barnet from the depths of the fifth tier since arriving in 2021. Finishing fifth, second and first in the last three campaigns, the former Wealdstone manager has become a source of confidence in north London.
What comes next?
Barnet have also confirmed the signing of free agent Emmanuel Osadebe ahead of their return to League Two. The 28-year-old agreed to leave Forest Green Rovers upon the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.

Brennan told the BBC: 'Manny's a super athletic lad and ticks a lot of boxes for us in that department with his power and his build.' Osadebe joins as Brennan’s fourth signing since the Bees lifted the National League trophy on the final day of their 2024/2025 campaign.
