Barnet Football Club has announced that they have mutually agreed to terminate Joe Kizzi's contract with immediate effect. The 32-year-old defender joined the Bees in May 2024 from Sutton United and made a significant impact during his time at the club. Kizzi played 32 matches in total, scoring two goals and providing valuable assists during the National League title-winning campaign. Unfortunately, he faced a setback due to a back injury that sidelined him for an extended period. Upon recovering, Kizzi had a brief loan spell at Enfield Town before rejoining Dean Brennan's squad. In the latter half of the 2025/26 season, he made 19 appearances, starting 11 of those games and contributing to six clean sheets. One of his standout performances came on New Year’s Day when he scored two goals against Crawley Town at The Hive. Dean Brennan praised Kizzi as the ultimate professional, highlighting his leadership and contributions to the team. As Kizzi moves on to Hornchurch, everyone at Barnet would like to thank him for his dedication and wish him success in his future endeavors. COYB.
