Barnet FC have had two upcoming Sky Bet League Two fixtures postponed after three first-team players were called up for international duty.
The club confirmed the away match at Crawley Town, scheduled for Saturday 26 September, and the home game against York City, set for Saturday 3 October, will be rearranged.
Under English Football League rules, a fixture can be postponed if a club loses players who have been named in the starting line-up or have come off the bench before the 75th minute in either 50% of its matches this season or four of the last five.
Barnet, who currently sit top of League Two with 12 points from six games, meet that threshold. The club is now in discussions with Crawley Town, York City and the EFL to find new dates and kick-off times for both matches.
Full details will be announced once agreements are finalised. All tickets purchased for the York City fixture at The Hive will remain valid for the rescheduled date. Supporters who cannot attend the new date will be entitled to a full refund, with a dedicated link and information to be provided later.
Schedule update
The postponements create a break in Barnet's league schedule during a period where they are unbeaten in five matches, with a recent form of two wins and three draws. Their next confirmed fixture is an EFL Trophy group stage match away at AFC Wimbledon, which will proceed as planned. Fans can check the club's full revised fixtures list for updates.
This disruption comes as Barnet look to maintain their strong start to the season, having scored 14 goals in the league so far. The team's standings position will be unaffected until the postponed games are played.
